We're convinced that nobody finishes absolutely every game they buy, so which titles in your collection have you not yet completed? Do you have plans to return to them, or is your gaming schedule (or, heavens forbid, life) just too crammed right now?Personally speaking, this blogger must be a good 80% through The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, but I suspect it was another blasted visit to the Ocean King's Temple that finally put me off. I've had my copy for around a year, and now it simply sits on my shelf, sneering at me. For shame.

I was doing so well for a while also...
I stopped about 70% through pokemon, I'm part-way through Puzzle Quest, more then 50% done with Geometry Wars, and stuck near the end of Picross.
Besides these, I've been pretty good at finishing up games... besides contact. I gave up on having to farm up gold.
I've been replaying the New Super Mario Bros which is fun but painfully short.

Mario 64. I've got 120 stars and was about to get to Bowser when I just got tired of it and put it down. One of these days I'll actually finish it. Yeah I know, I suck.
Also add me to the list of people who actually liked the Temple of the Ocean King in Phantom Hourglass. It added tension and difficulty that the game really needed.

I think it's more of a question of what games people *do* complete. According to my Gamepedia, I have 524 current gen games... and out of them I've finished a grand total of eight (nine if you count Portal as it's own game). Almost all of them are for the DS. I just don't understand where anyone over the age of twenty five gets the free time for most modern games... I've played GTAIV for ten hours since it came out and I'm only 5% finished according to the pause menu! And if I set down a game for a while due to work or family stuff, most of the time I come back and either forget my objective or forget the skillset required to play. I need more games that can be played in a single weekend. That's probably why Super Metroid and Shiren suck up most of my free time.

At 130-some odd hours into Pokemon Pearl I still haven't managed to beat the Elite 4, much less get into the content that opens up afterwards. I'd make a third attempt at it, but World Ends With You keeps telling me "seven more days" when I think about taking it out of the DS.

Same here. I started Diamond in May 1, last year and only now am I at Victory Road. And I clocked in 80+ hours to boot. I blamed the whole two Strategy Guides debacle though as would like one whole guide for Pokemon and the walkthrough. I'm trying to finish before the Darkrai event!!

I was starting to get a backlog so I made a new "only buy a new game as long as I finshed one" system. It worked out okay as I ended up finishing three games in one week.
