What about you all, though? Are you digging on Atlus's SRPG action or the classic Myst? Are you resorting to busting out a dusty, old cartridge and seeing what that's all about this weekend? For us, it looks like mostly rain, so it's the perfect excuse to sit indoors and spend some quality time with our DS.

I'm playing, "Wait for Drone Tactics to show up." I preordered it, but for some reason it didnt' show up at the store, this week. Fail at logistics, I guess.
I've got plenty of unfinished games to hold me over, but I really, really want the damn game I ordered. Grrr.

Some of the initial reviews of the game suggest the storyline is pretty bad and presented with all the camp of a product placement anime series (beyblade, digimon, etc...), but the game play itself is supposed to be fairly run-of-the-mill for a tactical RPG title. Also, it seems the type of terrain you're positioned on can directly affect the battle.
Overall, it doesn't sound like much of a match for Front Mission or Final Fantasy Tactics, though...

Up here in good old washington, the weather is great (going to be even better as the weekend goes on). Got to clean up the garden a bit, but on the game front I'm knee deep into the world ends with you and advance wars. I should have enough time to get to the end of the first.

I picked Drone Tactics up and have not stopped playing since.I love it!It is sorta generic in some spots. The story is like a cross between advance wars and something like pokeman(very cartoony). The customization options are totally awesome and easy to use.I like that you can grind a little if needed, but it doesn't make the game a breeze either.Highly recommended for advance wars fans wishing for RPG elements...which would be me :-)

Grrrr!!! It's Pokemon, people... Pokeman is hardly dignified for a series that's got 7 characters representing it in Smash Bros.
...
ANYWAY, I'm playing PBR, SSBB, Pokemon Puzzle League, FFCC, and Phoenix Wright 3. I occasionally pop in Twilight Princess... still not very far into it. ...I wish June 26th would come... I NEED IZUNA 2!

Err... i meant to is "Calling it 'pokeman' doesn't dignify the series that has 7 characters representing it in Smash Bros."

I'm spending time on The World Ends with You, as I heard a rumor concerning an additional ending sequence if you collect all the secret reports and I want to see if it is true.

Much as I love SRPGs, I'm so burned out on them! Having played every Advance War game has left me cold for DOR, not to mention having played plenty of Fire Emblem, Tactics Ogre, and FF Tactics has left me bored at the sight of new iterations. What's up with all the SRPGs? What I really could do with right now, is a plain, vanilla RPG in the likes of Golden Sun. There's plenty of Japanese RPGs just begging to be localised, why do all these SRPGs get priority??? Curse the succes of Advance Wars and my part in it!

My copy of Drone Tactics finally showed up, and it's good, so far. I like the way you create weapons, and the graphics are nice. Good use of 3D in a DS game.
