Famitsu has another five shots of Square Enix's "what not to wear" trainer "adventure RPG" Sigma Harmonics, featuring the usual bonkers fashion choices and some decent-looking 3D sections. Naturally, since the likes of Final Fantasy III became a part of our lives, "decent-looking 3D sections" are the very least we expect from Square Enix, who seem to have mastered 3D on the DS better than most.
Also, as we're on the subject of Sigma Harmonics, Siliconera reports that Square Enix just registered the game's title and logo at the USPTO. Does that mean the title is definitely coming stateside? Well, it's a very strong possibility -- let's leave it at that for now. More shots are past the break.

Really, really looking forward to this one!
I like the weird fashion choices - at least it shows some imagination on the part of the character artists. So many games have such bland designs these days, it's nice to see a bit of colour and craziness.
Hopefully Sigma Harmonics will live up to the standard set by TWEWY for new original DS RPGS.

As soon as I saw this game, my head changed the title to "ZAZZ HARMONIX" (go here -- http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/finalfantasy/ff4/ff4-1.htm -- and scroll down until you see the bolded words "DIGRESSION"...or "fatal zazz saturation")
I'm pretty sure Japanese designers only do this to torture cosplayers...though I'll concede that Neon's outfit isn't too horribly illogical, and everyone other than Sigma seems to understand basic color coordination.
Still, I am vaguely interested. The music playing on the official website is entrancing, the palette of the game is intriguing, and it's always fun to see what's done with book-style games.
FFIII and FFIV were developed by Matrix though, IIRC, so this makes me wonder if that relatively nice-looking 3D is actually being done in-house.
