Looks like the oft-neglected gamers in Australia are gonna get a bone for their DS dedication -- they're getting new colors, but not the new colors that are headed to Europe. Instead, Aussie Nintendo fans get a shot at the "senior edition" crimson and black Lite, as well as the more recent cobalt and black model. The two new models will be available as limited editions from June 19th -- the same week that sees Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time (and Darkness) release.
Australia, of course, already has the Ice Blue Lite, in addition to the basic white, black, and pink models.

I like being one of the few people in Oz to have a Crimson and Black DS. My wife and girlfriend worked hard to get me one (Wife is here in Oz, GF is in the US. :) )
Of course, it's only, like, a year late. :P

And yeah, I do agree, I wouldn't mind seeing the truly new colors come out over here, I know someone who is a lime green fanatic and would love a DS that color. :)
