Unfortunately, the original game wasn't the greatest. We have nothing against horse games at all - why, we went nuts for those yappy dogs, and they aren't half as useful. You can't ride a dog, or force it to lug around big bags of cement for construction purposes. Still, something isn't quite right down at the ranch, and the developers can't seem to nail what would make a horse game great fun. We don't know for sure if MHAM2 will be good or bad, but there is one thing we do know -- it'll be bad.

It really is a shame because horse games do have a potential to actually be GOOD. For example, having multi-play capabilities, even "breed" horses through Wi-Fi and produce the next generation of competition horses.
The problem is that they're focusing on a key demographic, pre-teen girls. Therefore it has to be sanitized and sterilized, because we all know special interest groups are so very willing to condemn a game that is meant for children that has any connotation of violence and / or sex.

Nice to see you kind of have no idea what you're talking about. My wife got the game for her birthday and I gave it a little time and found it controlled and did what it set out to do quite well so I'm not sure why that other than you not being into the style qualifies as bad. Elitist media comments get so tiring at times. I'm not saying it's a super game, but it is good and far from bad.
