Based on his novella Coraline (which is being made into an animated 3D film this February), the game is a multi-platform "surrealistic adventure" developed by D3. The story revolves around a young girl who enters a parallel universe that's like her own, only more fantastical.
There's no definitive date for this title (only Q1 2009), but we'd expect it to come out near the movie's release.

Well technically, the film is actually stop-motion, NOT 3D.
But forget that, I'm officially interested in this one, whether it turns out to be a good game or not.

As much as I want to be excited about this game, Gaiman said in his journal that he hasn't been involved with it in any way. In fact, he said that the last he heard about it was when he saw "an early proposal".

Yeah... I love Neil Gaiman's work and everything, but a movie tie-in game, without his involvement at all, has awful written all over it =/

That book was horrifying when I read it in grade 5 or something...I'd totally see the movie, but the images shown here don't look nearly as creepy ad the book..
