This game is pretty decent, although I wish the skating itself was a little more graceful. Most of the time is spent playing inane mini-gmaes and talking to characters. There is an awesome curling minigame included though.

Already out in the states. IGN gave it a 65. I picked it up for my kid on sale for $14.999, and it fits the bill. From what reviews I could find, it seems to be the better of the 2 ice skating games on the market, the other being Princess on Ice (not yet released in the US). Figure Skater has more variety in the touch screen interactions, and it seems to fit the bill for its intended audience.
