With our recent feature on Nintendo's original handheld games, we've been thinking a lot about them lately. Mainly, we just want that sweet collection that Club Nintendo hooked people up with in Japan. What about you all? Want to play some of the Game & Watch games on the DS, or do you want a different Club Nintendo goodie, like that Exclamation Warriors game? Did you import any? Could care less?

I agree!
Probably Club Nintendo Europe is worse than the American Version. So unfair ;)

Club Nintendo, isn't that where you go to register games? I did that with the first one or two games I bought, but it seemed all you got was 'points' that weren't useful for anything. I think they removed the site later.
(Also, it's "couldn't care less", not "could care less". *hits David with the grammar stick*)

From what I understand, if you are Japanese, Nintendo just hands you free stuff for even considering purchasing Nintendo products.
Bring that kind of service to America, dagnabit!

I'd love for more Game & Watch games to be released on the DS. Seems like a no-brainer.

Yeah, NoE's Club Nintendo is really lacking. There are some pretty nice things occasionally, but they are usually
a)way too expensive
and b) sold out in like 2 days.
Best thing I got out of it was my Wii mousepad.

Club Nintendo in Japan always has good stuff - the Controller II faceplate for Game Boy micro, the Wii TV remote...
NOA hasn't done anything in years. They gave me a Zelda Collector's Edition (which I am thankful for) and a Metroid Prime 2 demo.
Now they don't even have a forum anymore.

But you guys in America at least get your games quickly. I'd rather have no Club Nintendo (in Australia, which is still yet to start) and get games months earlier. Don't you guys realise that the size of America means it's nearly impossible to start a Club Nintendo due to both transport and the number of prizes they'd need to dish out?
