The above video proves the old saying -- where there's a will, there's a Rickroll. With the release of Korg's DS-10 synthesizer software in Japan, naturally, someone has composed a track recreating Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up," the meme that launched a thousand prank Youtube links.
Half of the hilarity is missing with the singer's sunglasses and dance moves absent, just as any rendition of Europe's "Final Countdown" suffers without Gob, but that's what homebrew application RickRollDS is for!

Pretty cool to have been able to recreate the song in the synthesizer.
However, I have to say... WHY do people on the Internet think the whole "RickRolling" phenomenon is amusing? It's gotta rank up there with the "I Can Has Cheezburger?" stuff as one of the dumbest Internet memes ever.

Deliberately misspelling a caption and then shoving it onto a picture of a cat.... hmmm..... I really don't get what's amusing about it.
At least when you misdirect someone to a music video of Mr Astley doing his awesome dance moves, there is some satisfaction and laughs for both parties.

You obviously have no clue about what Korg is and what their products are for so I'll forgive you, but next time please at least do a bit of research before spouting out crap.

Though I am looking forward to this big time, there is really nothing special about this. The Fact that it has no MIDI is a huge glaring flaw that makes it inferior to various hombrew efforts coming down the pike. Nobody is mentioning the drawbacks like having to make a rig to get music onto a pc or mac. I am buying this for the stability and documentation and having a portable musical sketchpad.
I'm sure tons of people will do amazing things with this, it just seems they dropped the ball on the most important features that are important for serious musicians.
I'm still getting this though

It's nice, but when there's homebrew trackers out there, there's pretty much no point in limiting yourself to the rather crappy 16-notes-per-pattern / 16-patterns-per-song rules that the Korg makes you follow.
Shame, though, could've been so much better.
