I don't know about Contra 4 but I bought Metal Slug 7 when I was in Tokyo a couple of weeks ago and that mother is tough! A macho beast if ever there was one, unless you use all 9 credits in easy mode, in which case you'll complete it in no time. If you do that you're just not macho enough!

well metal slug is a funnier cute Contra derived game... never seen a metal slug really dificult. Contra 4 may not be the hardest of Contra, and Contra itself may not be the hardest game ever (loosing to things like... Batletoads >_
