Many of you have noticed our Point/Counterpoint feature has made a recent comeback. We really enjoy doing that feature as it not only allows us to present topics that are great conversation on our little slice of the internet here, but also allows each of us to get your opinion, thanks to the poll at the end of each piece. What we're wondering is if you all have any great topics you'd like to see us tackle in the feature? Have their been any topics you and your friends have discussed at length and would like the help of a couple bloggers to decide the final verdict? Lay it on us!

How about less DS: Daily (DS: Weekly or Monthly?) and more game reviews?

Could you justify all those eroge/hentai games that are given Japanese releases from time to time?
If you do so, don't use the raw capitalist argument: it makes money/there's a market for it.
From afar I applaud the scope of their market, though when I think hard about the issue, I do find it disconcerting.

Random battles vs. non-random battles in RPGs. That's one thing I feel strongly about. xP

"Do we need more heroines in games?" (related: "Fanboy or Fangirl?", and "Do female characters need more realistic armor?")
"Why don't visual novels get translated?" (the DS's pocket size and dual screens are ideal for them, no?)
"Is it worth the effort to add multi-player content in DS games?" (most people play alone)
"Classic franchises (including remakes), or new RPGs (with or without a twist)?" (FF/DQ/CT vs. TWEWY/ΣH)
"Is it okay to ignore markets outside Japan and N-America?"

About Multi-player content, most people play alone, because Action Replay cheaters spoil the Nintendo Wifi for everyone.
Peace.

Non-games (language utilities, face training, DS-10, etc) vs focusing exclusively on games and leaving that stuff up to more capable devices.
The tinny speakers vs headphones. (I love my Portapros)
When is it time to replace a well used/loved DSL?

2D versus 3D, or, why is it that some people are so damned attached to one or another (for example, I know some people who REFUSE to play games that are not 3D, just like there are people who REFUSE to watch black and white movies).
The debate: Are these people idiots, or just morons?

Something I've been interested in lately is the growing number of games targeting 'girl gamers'. Does the increasing number of these games hurt the standings of girl gamers within the community or does it help them?
