Nintendo has a ton of memorable characters. Donkey Kong, Link, Fox McCloud, Samus and, of course, the lovable Mario, just to name a few. We all know which Nintendo game is our favorite, but we were wondering which of Nintendo's huge stable of memorable faces is your favorite? And why do you love them so much?

I think the Icon for Nintendo has been and always will be Mario, but I think the Pokeball will always have a special place in the cockles of my heart.

Definitely Mario.

Super Mario Galaxy and New Super Mario Bros. is all you need to show that Nintendo's biggest strength is still in Mario games.

It would have to be Link for me. I prefer slashing monsters over shooting them, and Link definitely does it best.

R.O.B., the Ice Climbers, GameNWatch and Ness are four (or more like five?) who really need more love. Been there since early times of Nintendo and need to be retributed. Pit is no exception.

Yoshi has always been my fav, I LOVE Yoshi's Island on SNES and I always play as Yoshi in every installment of Mario Kart.
