I think the Icon for Nintendo has been and always will be Mario, but I think the Pokeball will always have a special place in the cockles of my heart.

"but he was the first to show that Zelda doesn't always have to look realistic to be an awesome game!!"
I guess you aren't including the old games?

R.O.B. because he's a robot.
Although Link does have a special place in my heart since his show was one of the reasons to look forward to Fridays.

I love Bowser! He's so cute. He's goofy, determined, and we know that sometimes, he can be kind of good-hearted! Plus he kicks butt!

Link, such great memories of banging my head against the wall as a child trying to beat the Water Temple in Ocarina.

Definitely Mario.
Super Mario Galaxy and New Super Mario Bros. is all you need to show that Nintendo's biggest strength is still in Mario games.

It would have to be Link for me. I prefer slashing monsters over shooting them, and Link definitely does it best.

R.O.B., the Ice Climbers, GameNWatch and Ness are four (or more like five?) who really need more love. Been there since early times of Nintendo and need to be retributed. Pit is no exception.

Peach... people always underestimate the skills coming at them until too late.
Plus, I couldn't beat SMB2 without her cheap flying powers.

Mike, because he's from the most underappreciated Nintendo series ever. And if you don't know who Mike is or what game he's from then shame on you for calling yourself a Nintendo fan!
