I've played it on the GBA but never finished it because the game froze on me. So I "borrowed" my cousin's copy but haven't gotten to the spot where my copy froze. But this post will have me playing today while I'm laid up with a toothache.

Seem to remember playing a version of this against the SNES. Really hated having party members drop out of the party when you weren't expecting it. It worked for the plot, but I'd often just equipped them with (insert cool item here). This was before there were a whole lot of help sites, too.
