Thanks to the DS homebrew community, you can enjoy at least one rudimentary web browser, and thanks to Nintendo, you can enjoy ... well, one official rudimentary browser. Come the time of the DSi, a browser will be included, and web browsing will just become a part of the DS experience.Or will it? Not only was the official browser not very engaging, but we just never felt much need for net-surfing from the DS. Does that appeal to you?

The DSi supposedly has more built in RAM and improved wifi that supports WPA encryption.
Chances are, the DSi's browser will be MUCH better, and it's free. It may be worth using it.

The trouble with the DS as a browser is that pretty much anywhere that I can get a wifi signal, I have my laptop or access to someone else's PC anyway. It's a much better browser than my phone's, but there just aren't many situations when it comes in handy.

An NDS browser has no appeal for me. My NDS just doesn't go with me everywhere I go, I mostly play it at home when I can't sleep... And that's if I'm not on my laptop, you guessed it, browsing the internet. My laptop is with me 50% of the time, and I've always got my phone as well, so web beoqaing on my NDS (and PSP for that matter) isn't on my agenda.

When browsing on the go I use my iPod touch. No handicaps except for certain view codecs, otherwise it views webpages as they are through Safari. And YouTube :)

I'm mildly interested in it as a "that too" feature, but it's not central to my enthusiasm for the DSi at all.

I'll use it whenever there's a press conference or something live going on that I'd otherwise miss while not at the computer...assuming there's a Wi-Fi point nearby.

I like the NDS browser. It's well thought out for touch screen use. It's not uber fast, but for a quick check of e-mail round at a mates or without getting out of bed it's great. Used it today in fact.

It's one of those features that is a lot better built in, available if you need it for some immediate reason.
I know I will probably be using it at college when I don't have my laptop on and need to check something real quick.

I certainly felt like it was something sorely lacking in the original DS. As with most web-capable devices, it's not so much that you'll spend hours at a time web-surfing on the DS, but more that it'll be there if you need it to quickly look up a bit of information or check your email.
The Wii is like this. I don't need it to overtake my computer as my web browsing device of choice, but it's nice to be able to use it to quickly look something up on Wikipedia or show someone a Youtube video.

I've used my PSP to check e-mail when I don't want to boot up my PC, so it has some use to me. I would never even think of paying money for that feature, but it makes a nice extra.

Absolutely everything else I have that can access the Internet can do it much, much better than the DS. I had the DS Browser, then sold it, and subsequently vowed never to use any browser on a Nintendo-based system again.

The times that I need the internet on the go are the times when it's least available--yard sales, flea markets, et cetera. I had no desire to buy the DS Browser (although I regret it now that it's rare) and a new integrated version whose improvements, if any, will be marginal isn't going to edge me any closer to purchasing a DSi.

Now that I have an iPhone that can access the internet almost wherever I go via 3G, I'm sure I will never have to use the web browsers on the DS or PSP ever again, as quite frankly they are pathetic in comparison.

I don't have internet on my phone because it's, frankly, ancient, so I found the DS browser to be handy when out-and-about. And at home, if I don't feel like getting my 15-inch machine out, I can boot it up in a moment to check my email. Basically it fills the netbook/mobile phone niche for me. So for the technologically backwards or stingy like me, it can come in handy as a substitute for a couple of devices, but that's it.
Really I think it's only in the DSi as they needed a web browser for the store.

I can go ten minutes without checking my e-mail.
Jesus, no one is that important. When I see people walking around with their cell phones clipped to their ears I want to just punch them.

I don't check my email every ten minutes, but it's a nice addition when you're visiting relative's so you can take 2 minutes to quickly check your email once a day.

If your relatives have wi-fi, they have a computer I'm sure they'd let you use.

I would love to be able to check my email at school without having to find a computer, so I would welcome a built-in browser. So far I haven't been able to load a single page with DSOrganize.
That said, I'm not going to buy a DSi just for a web browser. I'm sticking with my Lite.

I dont hate it, but I dont exactly "like" it.
The only thing I'd use it for is watching Youtube videos(if its supported DX) and checking my email randomly/on-the-go. The only Youtube vids I'd watch on the go are pretty mcuh just anime/shows I watch, if I can't download them onto my (future)DSi.
Really cant think of another use for it.
