With their bulky (and thus highly non-portable) dimensions, cute joystick, and dependency on fatter "C" batteries, the Game & Watch Tabletop games were markedly different from any other. They were also more technologically advanced, thanks to their colored, illuminated screens that shamed rival handhelds at the time. The series lasted only three months.
