Fanswag reminder: Nuritech goodies up for grabs

Perhaps you missed this last week, but accessory provider Nuritech (the U.S. arm of Japanese company Joytron) hooked us up with a plethora of goodies for your DS. The only problem we had with that was we were unable to keep any of these sweet accessories. Instead, we have to give them to you! Our job, it is not always great.

So head on over to the original post and get to entering. Remember: you can enter only once per day and must be 18 years of age or older, as well as a current U.S. resident. Hit up the original post for all of the other things you may need to know about our latest giveaway and check out the gallery below for a close-up look at what's on offer.

DS Fanswag: Nuritech accessory blowout

Well, readers, we think we're in love. The above package was sent to us by none other than Nuritech, the U.S. arm of accessory provider Joytron. But, as you might imagine, today is a day we very much hate our job, because we can't keep any of this stuff!

So, very sadly, we will be hooking up three very lucky readers with a nice accessory package. What will each lucky winner receive? Well, here goes the list:
  • Two grand prize winners: 1 red or black DS tuning case (each valued at $20), 1 black/clear or blue/pink game pack case (valued at $8), 1 strap with touch pen (it's a stylus and wrist strap in one!) (valued at under $10) and one skin guard (valued at $8)
  • Runner-up prize winner: 1 chrome ds tuning case (valued at $20), 1 joytron fiber case and cleaner (smidges galore on the chrome tuning case) (valued at $8) and one system skin case (valued at $10)
What do you need to get in on the action? Well, first, you need to hit up Nuritech's website and check out their goods. Then, you need to leave a comment telling us what your favorite Nuritech/Joytron accessory is. You can leave one comment per day, so be sure not to leave more than one or you'll be disqualified. Also, you need to be a current resident of the United States and 18 years of age or older.

Finally, give our official rules a read. The contest will be ending on Wednesday, March 12th at 11:59PM Eastern Time. So get to entering and best of luck to you all.

And, a special thanks to Michael from Nuritech for hooking us up with goods we wish we could keep, but will instead unload on readers!

DS Fanswag: And the Cobalt DS Lite goes to ...

Well, you've all been waiting patiently today to see who will be the lucky winner in our Cobalt DS Lite giveaway. And, through the power of random selection, we've finally snagged us a winner. Without further ado, let us reveal who it is:
  • Peter, who must've had a heart attack at the excitement, for his only response to our email was "asdfjlfhlasdjfhlasdfhasldfhasljk*."
Congratulations, Peter! And, to the rest of you, better luck next time! Thanks for entering and thanks for reading DS Fanboy!

*We totally made up his response.

Reminder: Today is your last day to enter for a Cobalt DS Lite

That's right, kiddies. Today is the last and final day at which you can toss your hat into the virtual ring for one free Cobalt DS Lite. We here at DS Fanboy strive each and every day to bring you things you care about. With this contest, we're guaranteed to do that for one person.

If you already entered today, don't do so again. You'll automatically be disqualified. For the rest of you, head on over to the contest post and get to entering! We'll be picking the winner tomorrow.

Reminder: Win a Cobalt DS Lite

Oh man, if you weren't here on Friday to check the site, boy do we have a megaton for you. The latest in the long line of sexy and slim handhelds from Nintendo, the Cobalt DS Lite, is up for grabs. So, if you want to get your grubby little mitts on it, be sure to head on over to our contest post and read up on what you need to do.

Good luck!

DS Fanswag: Win a Cobalt DS Lite

Oh, you read that right. We're giving one lucky reader a brand-spanking-new Cobalt DS Lite (retails for $129.99). As one might imagine after seeing several giveaways on this blog before, entering to win this sweet handheld is a snap.

First of all, you must be 18 years of age or older (kids, ask you big brother or sister or your parents to enter for you!) and currently reside in the United States. So, if you meet those qualifications, all you need to do is tell us why you deserve this Cobalt DS Lite. Have you been reading us for awhile? Do you make your own DS Fanboy t-shirts in your spare time (send us one?) and have one for every day in the week? Whatever the reason is, tell us!

But, you can only comment once per day. So, don't go entering more than one comment each day or else you're disqualified. The contest begins as of right now and ends on Wednesday, February 20th at 11:59pm EST. Finally, give our official rules a read. Once done, get to entering.

Good luck!

DS Fanswag: Better get those entries in!

If you're interested in a free copy of Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker and Front Mission (and really, who isn't?), then you better get those entries in! The contest closes Monday evening, and since you can only enter once per day, that's only two more chances. Two, however, is better than zero, so head on over to the original post and throw your name into the hat.

DS Fanswag: Snag a Square Enix doubleshot

We love giving you free stuff here at DS Fanboy, and it's even better when we can do it in sets. We'd like to offer one lucky reader a truly golden pair: Front Mission and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker (valued at $34.99 and $39.99, respectively). Between these two titles, you can stay busy for a long, long time ... and all you have to do is leave a comment on this post between now and Monday, November 19th, 11:59 EST time. On Tuesday the 20th, we'll announce the winner. It's just that easy!

Of course, we always make you give us something in return, and this time we want to know: which of these two games interests you more? The winner gets both no matter what, but call us curious. As usual, you can only enter once per day, and sadly, the contest is limited to readers who are both over the age of 18 and who live in the United States. Don't forget to check out the official rules if you have questions!

DS Fanswag: The Heroes of Mana and Luminous Arc winner is ...

Another DS Fanboy contest has come to an end, and sadly, we could only choose one winner (though you're all winners to us!). Our copies of Luminous Arc and Heroes of Mana will be shipping off to reader Goldilocks, whose comment was randomly selected in our drawing. We asked: witches or rabites? And Goldilocks said:

198. Witches WITH rabites.

Classic. Congrats to Goldilocks -- and to everyone else, keep your eyes on this space. We'll have another giveaway for you soon!

DS Fanswag: And the soon-to-be brainiac is ... [update 1]

Our giveaway has come to a close and we've chosen a winner. The lucky recipient will have some titles for the DS that encourage mental fitness in Picross DS, Brain Age 2 and Brain Buster Puzzle Pak. And, without further delay, the winner is none other than reader Chase, who said he feels "as mentally sluggish as Forrest Gump would be while playing Metal Slug."

So, congratulations to Chase and keep an eye out for our next DS Fanswag giveaway.

Update: Sadly, Chase won't be getting his hands on these games. We tried to contact him for his address multiple times and he didn't get back to us. So, we randomly chose a new winner in Puptronik! Hopefully, we'll be able to unload these games on Puptronik without any problems.

DS Fanswag: Today is the last day to get those brain builders

Hey, did you know we were giving away some games for free? No? Well, you've still got time to get in on the action and all you need to do is hit up this post right here. That's right, head on over to that post and follow the simple instructions for a chance to become a more mentally fit individual. Who wouldn't want that? Be sure to hurry, though, as time is running out.

And, make sure you've read the official rules.

DS Fanswag: Brain builder blowout

Are you feeling mentally down? Does calculating the cost of your groceries at your local supermarket taking you longer than usual? Well, we might just have something that can help you get mentally fit again. Whether you're 88 or 18 (sorry, if you're under 18 years of age or live outside the United States, you are not eligible), everyone can always use some extra mental exercises to help them get fit again.

What will you win? Well, that's simple. One grand prize winner will receive a copy of Brain Age 2 (valued at $20), Picross DS (valued at $20) and Brain Buster Puzzle Pak (valued at $20). With all those puzzle titles, you should be as mentally fit as a young Albert Einstein.

So, do your brain a favor and make a comment below. All we're asking is that you tell us the last time you were feeling mentally sluggish. Hey, we're all friends here, no need to feel embarrassed when you had some difficulty adding and subtracting with The Count.

Before you do that, though, make sure that you read the official rules before entering. The contest will be open from Wednesday October 10th, 2007 9:45am EST until Sunday October 14th, 2007 11:59PM EST.

DS Fanswag: Jam Sessions giveaway almost over!

We just wanted to remind you that the Jam Sessions giveaway ends this Sunday at 11:59 pm EST. If you want a crack at one of the three copies we have available, head on over and leave a comment about the first song you'd like to learn to play on Ubisoft's guitar simulation. We'll announce the winners on Monday!
