Welcome to Thursday, that wonderful day of the week where we all get together and get our game on. This week, we'll be playing a Game Night classic. So, we don't want to hear any excuses! head past the break and be prepared to enjoy some Wi-Fi DS action.
Last night's Game Night session was less of a Game Night and more of a "sit in chat for awhile before playing a handful of matches" night. It was sad to see, as we were all excited and ready to play Planet Puzzle League. We guess you guys just don't enjoy the game, or a majority of you weren't able to secure it yet, full of intentions of doing so. Regardless of the why, we're going to make sure next week is a good night chock full of gaming by only including our top "classic" games into the poll.
With all of the craziness that comes with E3, we still need to remember the important things in life. Important things like our wonderful Game Night gaming sessions. Last week, we didn't put up a poll to select tonight's game, so we're just going to call it ourselves. Our theme game will be ...
It's that magical time of the week again, where we all ditch responsibility and celebrate gaming. We've been looking forward to getting together all week and can't wait to get our game on. So, waste no time and head past the break for the details.
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have been out for just over two months, and we suspect that there are still plenty of you out there playing. Either you've picked your copy up after the release date (which we always do) or you're just still working on catching and training those little buggers. Pokemon is a fairly deep game despite its apparent childishness, so it can take a long time to finish (or to decide to stop playing.)
So who's still playing regularly? We ask because we're slowly building up our team in anticipation of a glorious future Game Night in which we can compete in a non-awful fashion. We emphasize slowly-- it turns out that work often takes time away from leisure activities. Outrageous, we know.
Last night was a successful Game Night, where we got our Tetris on and enjoyed some very nice discussion on the newly-revealed Metroid Prime 3 boxart. It was a very fun and interesting time, to say the least. As such, we can't wait for next week, so help us determine the theme game and we'll see you then!
Oh, it's like some holiday up in here. It's the only way to explain just how good we feel right now. We're looking forward to gaming with you all tonight, so head past the break and get all of the deets.
Another successful Game Night went down yesterday evening and we only have one question: where were you? We took the time to set out some snacks and refreshments, only to have less people show up compared to last week. We still got to play Planet Puzzle League, but we thought more folks would be there to play other games with those who did not have Planet Puzzle League.
Can you smell that? That certain something in the air? That's right, Game Night is upon us! Are you prepared? Have you told your loved ones you will be unavailable tonight? You probably should. Have you set out some nice clothes and clean underwear? You probably should. Have you clicked past the post break for the details, yet? You probably should.
Look, last night was amazing. We can't imagine spending time with anyone else. We ... we think we're in love. And, the only logical thing to do when you're in love is to nurture that love and help it grow. To do that, we're going to add a new game to our weekly Game Nights. Check it out in the poll below.
The results of the poll for this week's theme game aren't going to surprise you. Heck, we've been doing this for awhile now, so surprises have become fewer and farther between as we've progressed. Regardless, you'll still want to head past the post break for the info you need.
We had ourselves a blast last night and we hope you did, as well. The turnout was great and even with Pokemon being the theme game, we were able to play some Tetris DS and Clubhouse Games. That's our goal: get enough people together where we can all play whatever we feel like comfortably. We feel like we're on our way to achieving that goal.
Not only does Thursday signal the close proximity of Friday, but also allows us to get together for our weekly gaming session Game Night. And, as usual, we've gone ahead and embedded the theme game poll results past the break. Oh, and there's the details on where to meet and all. Really, it's in your best interest to head past the break.
Now that Thursday has passed, we're all set to get Friday over with and enjoy the things that come with the weekend. But, before you can clock out of your job or ditch that last class for the week, we need you to help us determine what next week's theme game should be. We know, we work you guys to the bone. So, do us a favor and cast your vote below.
We've arrived at that day of the week again, where it signals the coming of a nightly meeting allowing many handheld enthusiasts to come together and get their game on. We're looking forward to it and hope you are too. So, head past the break for all the deets on what you need, where you need to be and what time we'll be starting.
