This is all old news and exposition, though. The interesting part is that Visteon told GamerTell in an interview that they hope to come out with two new Dockable Entertainment systems, one featuring the Wii and the other the DS. These plans are nowhere near definite, but the fact that Visteon is looking into them is enough to get us excited. Granted, a portable Wii device that can also play DVDs and CDs is the more appealing of the two, but a DS version isn't too shabby of an idea, either. Of course, the potential pricing on these devices has us nervous, considering that the GBA version cost a cool $1,200 with installation when it came out.

The folks over at Gamebrink have managed to import Nintendo's mp3 player add-on for the DS and walk away with a sour taste in their mouth. Without the inclusion of a SD card in the package, as well as headphones, in order for one to actually use this thing it'll cost over $100 bucks when all is said and done. Not to mention the fact that it doesn't allow for playlists, the whole package doesn't sound too appealing.
Hitting Europe on December 8th, the Nintendo MP3 player is designed to take MP3s from a 512mb SD card and, with the included adapter, play them on your DS Lite. Song navigation will be handled via the touch-screen, where all song information will be listed, as well.
