WRUP: Master of Disguise edition

No, not that Master of Disguise, we're talking about Wario: Master of Disguise. That's right, we plan on playing that all weekend. What will you be playing this weekend? Will you be playing Wario: Master of Disguise, as well, or perhaps you had your eye on another release this week, perhaps Rayman: Raving Rabbids?

So, what will it be?

3. I was playing GRAW2 until my controller started acting up. I might not play any since I'll be busy all weekend. Maybe I'll play on Sunday.

4. Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 - Minis and Nintendogs (finally....).

I've seen the reviews for Wario: Master of Disguise seeming to run the full spectrum from good to bad, if you get a chance let us know your impressions. I'm on the fence as to whether it's worth the investment!

5. NSMB and FFIII. Hopefully Dos and PoR come in from Amazon tomorrow!

6. Today I received in the mail Izuna, Lunar Knights, and Meteos, and earlier this week grabbed Advance Wars Dual Strike. So I'll be juggling all four. First impressions:

Izuna starts off much easier than I had expected, given all the dire warnings in every review ever. I'm sure it'll get harder. I'm enjoying it.

Lunar Knights, which I had expected to be an immediate favorite, requires more involvement than I'm willing to invest right now. I'm in a pick-up-and-play-a-quick-game mood these days.

Meteos takes some getting used to, but I really wish they had thought to rotate the screen 90 degrees and increase the size of the blocks from the beginning. Oh well. It's okay. I needed a puzzler and this fits fine.

Advance Wars still offers the same great gameplay of the GBA originals, but the graphics are also exactly the same, which is disappointing. Actually they're a tiny bit worse, as they seem to have been scaled for the larger DS screen, making them slightly blurry/pixelated. Nonetheless, I can't stop playing.
