DS Daily: Did it work?

So we've all had a while to mess with Brain Age. We've Stroop tested and memorized lists of words and been yelled at by a floating head. Did it work? Do you feel smarter ... more aggressive ... like you could take on the world?

Or can you at least do division a little more quickly? That's pretty good too.

1. Not too sure about Brain Age, but Elite Beat Agents has given me almost Spiderman-like reflexes.

2. What, it makes you cry like a little bitch? :P

(note: am taking the piss out of Emoman, not Saphion)

3. Hmmm, good point. Cat-like reflexes, then!

(God, Spider-Man 3 was awful.)

4. Brain Age has indeed made me wary of math.
I can't calculate Pi to over 6 spots, but my 20-math problems record is at 9.3 secs!

Thats less than half a second per problem!

5. I wish it could train me to calculate in modular arithmetic fields up to the size of 13, because that's what I need to know tomorrow.

6. Is it really suppossed to make you smarter? I always thought of it as a tool just to keep you sharp.

7. I have yet to really play brain age... but man do I now want a Day of the Tentacle port for my DS!!

Posted at 12:25AM on May 30th 2007 by Lucien Takar

8. I'm 28 and after years of relying on calculators and computers for my math problems my brain got a little rusty...

At first my brain age was over 70, but now a little over 2 months after I'm at 28, my real age.
I know that most of you are 20 or 21 y/o in the game (and probably that's your actual age) to me it felt great and now I try to do all my math problems at work w/o calcs or computers.

I love that game and I'm looking forward to play Brain Age 2.
