With the receding hairline of 2007 about to become the implausible comb-over of 2008, we've been pondering the future quite a lot here in the DS Fanboy dungeons. As we've already taken time out to reflect on the DS's output during the last twelve months, the next question must inevitably be: what DS-related events are you most looking forward to in 2008?Perhaps you can't wait to sink your teeth into Final Fantasy IV, to begin barking orders in Advance Wars 2, or for a certain Professor to arrive on western shores. Then again, maybe you're just giddy about the prospect of purchasing another DS. Who knows? Well, we don't. So tell us!

Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword is my first choice in the entire list. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Professor Layton, Gyakuten Saiban 4, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, Rune Factory 2, and of coruse, the next Castlevania that is coming (as said by IGA).

Super Dodge Ball Brawlers, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, The World Ends With You, Tales of Innocence, Dragon Quest IX, and maybe we can hope for some Space Invaders Extreme.
And of course, the aformentioned Advance Wars 2 and Professor Layton.
All of this...and then some. I think this could beat '07, personally.

I'll be buying Space Invaders Extreme and Arkanoid if they're released here with that wonderful paddle, and then trying to write my own games to use that paddle. I'd also like to get that camera from the face training game for the same purpose. Wouldn't a DS cam phone totally rock?
Oh yeah, and hoping for Pikmin DS and watching the skies for a new (thinner but with larger screens?) DS model. If not, I'll probably get a black DS Lite next fall and cover it in woodgrain skins, like I've been saying I'd do ever since the black one came out.
Other than that, I'm all about the homebrew.

No, I disagree.
I played the import version of Professor Layton and it was one of the best games I've played(not just for DS). The download-able content adds tons of replay and makes the game that much better. I want Prof. Layton more than I want Ninja Gaiden & Arkanoid...and that's a lot.

For me, I'm looking forward to the three Professor Layton games (here's hoping the first one sells well enough so we get the other two), Apollo Justice, Time Hollow, Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles, and Sim City Ages (or whatever they are going to call the 2nd Sim City game for the DS.)
