Following up our conference call with one of the producers for Myst DS, the PR firm handling the game has dished out a new trailer. Within, you will find what every Myst fan loves about the franchise: Myst-like stuff. There's a look at traversing the environments, working some puzzles and more traversing the environments. It's pretty much everything the Myst lover, uh ... loves. So, check it out and tell us what you think!
Note: To see the video in proper resolution (you know, not all stretched), you're going to have to click through and watch it at YouTube. There will be a small format button in the bottom right (the second from right). That's what you'll want to click.

Yup, it's Myst all right. The exact same Myst I loved so many years ago. I have to wonder, though, if modern day fans will actually embrace it. It is, after all, a bit static and old-fashioned compared to the modern-day adventures on the DS.

They could have at least made transition animations from point to point. That would have looked much better.

Is it really going to have that goofy "Myst" title screen on the top while I'm playing?

I have this game ony DS already and have had it for over a month. I won't say how I got it just that I have it...
It is the largest DS rom I have seen so far at 1024mbit (128 MB)

You can beat Myst in less than 5 minutes if you know the right code to enter, and they showed it in the video!
Maybe. I'm not sure because I can't remember it anymore.
And Andy, telling us how big a ROM Myst DS is didn't reveal to us how you got it. No sirree! We have no idea how you've got it. We're absolutely clueless!

Isn't this game out in Europe for some time now? Is this one different? Why are you posting "fresh footage" when you can just get the game.

Played it....it sucks.

Jup, we here in Europe already have it.
But the port sucked, it's full of glitches and they never made the "buttons" onscreen big enough for the stylus.
I never even finished it, never got past the "press the symbols to raise the water level" because of glitchiness
Don't buy this game....

Heh, it's out in Europe already, guys.
And the resolution/blurryness pretty much ruins it. I say this from playing it myself (I live in the UK).
