Pac-n-Roll and Battles of Prince of Persia. Those are seriously the only two DS games I have that I haven't finished.

I have advanced a bit on the Contra 4 easy mode, but have not tried normal mode yet. The reason is that a shaky commute ride is not a great setting for such unrelenting action. Also, my Etrian Odyssey has not reached a conclusion yet.

I have a terrible backlog on pretty much every system I own. For the DS, which I got just last Christmas, I still haven't started Hotel Dusk, even though it was one of the first DS games I bought. I just got up to the Elite Four in Pokemon Diamond, which is the actual first game I bought. My boyfriend bought me Contact for Valentine's Day and I haven't started it. I haven't beaten Puzzle Quest yet.
I blame all of this on Phoenix Wright.

I actually am playing about 5 games at the moment on and off depending on my mood. I like to switch it up. The games that are in my backlog once i beat a few are Apollo justice, Hotel Dusk, and FFXII Revenant Wings. i don't like to just play one DS game from beginning to end I like to have a couple and bounce back and forth between them. I don't know if i'm the only one who does that.

oh crap...where to begin. Lessee
Starfox
Orcs and Elves
Metroid
Mario v DK
Mario Party
Rayman
Viewtiful Joe
Yoshi's Island.
I'm sure there's more. Picross (best $20 ever spent) and Geometry Wars are always in rotation. However, I'm not sure those games really ever "end". Come to think of it. I give Nintendo an awful lot of money to have a shiny piece of plastic sit on my shelf. Now I'm depressed. I hate you guys.

Every single game I have ever bought for ANY system since I started working at my job I've played a few hours then put down. I work at a game store, so I buy a game, love it...play it for awhile...and see yet ANOTHER game I would like to buy.
But I do have my reasons, I'm leaving the country soon and will probably not be able to buy games as often (or at a discount). Good to have a few (40+) DS/Psp/Ps3/Wii/GBA/GBC games to play when I can't XD

- Advanced Wars DoR (I'm on the last few missions though so no big deal)
- New Super Mario Bros.
- Zelda The Phantom Boredom Glass
- Draglade (but I did beat it one character at least)
- All three Phoenix Wright games (halfway done with the first)
- Kirby's Canvas Curse (about half finished. It's my 'while I'm taking a dump" game)

Dragonball Super Sonic Warriors Z (or something like that). I really don't like this eternal flying around, I don't feel the chars and fighting is just pointless. So I just threw away 40 Euros. If it was just a piece of software, I would delete it, but still, I like spending money.

I've been trying to limit my purchases lately only to the games that I'm absolutely positive I need, so my purchases are typically followed by a week to a month of utter devotion, wherein I suck the game dry of any pleasure it could possibly bring me. I rarely bother to 100% anything I own, but I try to get my money's worth. But sometimes I'll lose interest in a game before I feel like I've gotten everything out of it.
Trauma Center: Under the Knife -- I guess I'm just not hardcore enough for this game. Every now and then I'll pick it up and spend some time trying to get through the last mission that stumped me. I'm presently at the mission where you have to repeatedly cut that worm thing in half before it spreads to the heart. c_c;;
Brain Age 2 -- Despite my love of the first game, I haven't been keeping up with my mental exercise in the sequel. Part of the problem is, again, the stiffer difficulty. My Word Scramble times are consistently higher than the maximum time limit the game will keep track of, and the Word Blend exercise -- where you have to pick apart multiple words that are being spoken at once -- is a nightmare for me. Even the incidental activities -- connect the dots and such -- seem to take me forever. I got it near launch, and I still haven't played it enough to unlock all of the activities.
Animal Crossing Wild World -- This one's not so much difficult as just dull. Maybe it's the flat landscape, maybe it's the lack of NES games, maybe it's the fact that I played it to death on the Gamecube. I just don't have enough interest in my town to keep visiting it. Again, I bought it near launch, but I have yet to pay off my house.
Pac-Pix -- I actually made it to the final level, but the last boss is so difficult that I've left it unfinished basically since it was released. Which is a terrible shame, because I otherwise loved it.
Tetris DS -- I don't know how much you have to play Tetris before you've gotten your value from it, but I don't feel like I'm quite there yet. I guess I just have so many great idle time-wasters that Tetris just sort of gets a back seat.
Sonic Rush -- This one puzzles me, because it's a good game and it really isn't that hard. I think I just fell out of love with Sonic all at once and I never really bothered to get back into it.

I surprised myself when I looked at my DS shelf and realized that I really didn't have a backlog to speak of. Sure, there are a few games that I put down halfway through because they just weren't fun anymore, but roughly 75% of what I have I've beaten. There are a couple that a rough patch of university caused me to stop playing like Luminous Arc and Izuna, so there's a chance that I might pick up and finish those, but I'm happy with my overall game completion rate. Now if you want to talk about a system of mine with a nasty backlog, I have about 20 PS1 and PS2 games lined up to take down over the summer. My sister is considering going halfsies with me on a PSP so she can take it to work during the daytime to watch movies on, so there's a potential for an even larger backlog. Urgh.

Oh wow. My back list is huge. These are the games I want to beat someday and that I haven't completely given up on.
DS
Lunar Knights
Pokemon Diamond
Mario and Weegee 2
GBA
Boktai 2
Gunstar Super heroes
Sigma Star Saga
Golden Sun 2 (I'm waiting until I can find, buy, and beat the first game)
GCN
Beyond Good and Evil (I don't have enough room on my memory cards, other wise I'd play it.)
FFCC (I play it for a period once a year during the summer with friends)
Lost Kingdoms
Metroid Prime 2
PNO3
Tales Of Symphonia
Viewtiful Joe 1/2
And I've got Mario Galaxy, Super Metroid, and Kirby 64 waiting for me on my Wii.
