And we can't blame them, as demand for the Wii and DS looks like it could only be curbed by the announcement of a new handheld and console. Until that happens, it looks like consumers will need to get used to the price tag on each system, as well as not seeing them on shelves while shopping.

i think their game prices are too high. 35 bucks for a game. thats more than half of a 360 or ps3 game and it gets about 1/4 of use as a console game

But the production costs of a cartridge based game are always higher than a Disc based game, due the the cost of the cartridge. That, and not everyone favours consoles over handhelds, so it's worth it if you play your DS more than your 360
