Even Hudson has hinge problems

Having had our own Polar White DS Lite since its first day of release here in the United States, we consider ourselves incredibly lucky that we aren't reporting on our own DS Lite being
busted right now. Who's DS Lite is this, exactly?
Hudson's own Takahashi Meijin.
For almost 2 years has he had his DS Lite. While we're sure his status means he could just call up Nintendo and get a new handheld sent over (probably delivered in a decadent wooden box by a dancing pixie), we'd suggest upgrading. Perhaps to a
dual-toned model?

Yep apparently it happened to not only me but even famous people too. Sillyness, oh well my Cobalt Blue and Black DS is even better than the Polar White.

What did he expect pressing the shoulder buttons 16 Times each second?

Just a crapped out shoulder button I would expect. Happened to my DS, happened to my DS Lite.

I don't understand how people do this. Opening and closing the unit? I've had two - a Polar White from release and then an Onyx (which is now about a year old, too) and I haven't seen this issue.
Does this come from opening the unit all the way? I don't play with mine "flat"; I prefer it semi-angled.

happened to mine, i'm not sure when, i just noticed it one day, and I don't open mine all the way either, but it does travel alot so it might be from the hustle and bustle of moving it around.

Tell him to get an original DS. They're better. I know I won't be upgrading to a Lite from my launch DS anytime soon.
