So ... huh? After sitting through the above four minutes of explosions, nuclear symbols and flashing lights, we have learned nothing about the upcoming
Duke Nukem Trilogy for the DS. Quite frankly, this isnt the kind of trailer you want to show at E3, when countless other videos opt to show
gameplay footage and new details. Also, four minutes long? Sure, there's a bit of metal rocking out there, but wouldn't we rather watch a music video instead of the words
Critical Mass and
Proving Grounds blasting all over the screen? You bet.
The rest of the Fanboy team thinks this irritable blogger is missing the joke of the (clearly satirical) trailer. They are probably right.

All people involved with the making and approval of this "trailer" for public release should be flogged. It looks like someone (under the age of 14) had 4 images and needed to make a 4 minute trailer on the plane to e3.

I laughed pretty damn hard, actually. I don't even care if this game also takes over a decade to make, it was worth it for this very clever nod to their own "work in progress." Well played.
And yea, rockin' metal.

Yeah, I think you are missing the point. This is clearly a piss-take trailer. Note the music, it's the Duke Nukem Jam by vertexguy. It's a fan production. Here's the original version - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-y0MdPXslo&e
Sounds to me like they're just messing you guys about and seeing what kind of reaction they can get out of you. It worked :>

It's not the Duke Nukem Jam from Vertexguy, it's the theme made by Megadeth.

Sorry but you're wrong. This is Grabbag, the track by Megadeth - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxcbr3PJ76E&feature=related
As you can clearly hear, this is not the same track. Listen to the video I linked in the first place, which you obviously haven't. It's obviously the Vertexguy interpretation of Grabbag.

Makes you wonder if they're actually doing anything to make the game . They probably spent the last 10 years not really doing anything , but convincing their bosses to pay them .

Yea its tongue & cheek and its hillarious. This trailer pretty much saved E3 for me.
Its shocking that people actually think its meant to be taken seriously, but then again some people hate the idea of an 8bit Megaman so what are ya gonna do.

It's like that Over 9000 video but far, far, far less interesting. I mean, the thing is a port of old games.... even if it's not from the DS version they had PLENTY of gameplay footage they could have used...
I liked the part where the Duke Nukem logo just wiggled for like 10 seconds while smoke came out of...something.
