In between the unrelenting brownness, you'll get a glimpse of a couple of the enemies you will encounter, including the "Soulless Leech" (the red, swirly chap here) and the "Beast of Burden" (here, no, sorry, here). Gauntlet will now be coming out in October, after it slipped from its original June date.
Finally, if somebody could reassure us that they got the reference in the title so we don't feel about 800 years old, that'd be peachy. Cheers.

I played the Demo at Nintendo World a few weeks back and was VERY upset by the game. I was really looking forward to it, but the Demo was just BAD. Graphics were bad, game play was BAD. It's a shame :(

I would reassure you, but Brown Screen needs health, and the Valkyrie isn't helping...

That set off memories of Dark Legacy and Arcade Classics. "Welcome, Valkyrie!" Grim Reaper Valkyrie was a must for me. :)

Isn't that palette called 'next-gen'? Or maybe that would need more grey and charcoal. I heard FPS gamers like that.

Please tell me that voices will exist to tell me when my teammates have ruined things. "Red Elf shot the food!"

I sure hope it looks better in motion. I can hardly tell what anything is in those pics.

Polygons and prerendered sprites at any cost. This looked bad back in the late 16bit/early 32bit days, and it still does today

I hate games (and movies) that are too dark... I can only play Twilight Princess for so long, because a majority of it is dark.
Super Mario Sunshine, though, is one of my favourites because it's almost entirely bright and sunny. I don't want to play games that leave me feeling depressed.
