Nintendo has confirmed a super official European release date for
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations, and it's
soon: October 3rd. With any luck, the game will arrive before we're all sucked into the Swiss countryside (if there's anything that really gets our goat, it's our
Trials and Tribulations play time being interrupted by the cessation of the universe as we know it).
This announcement comes after months of fretting over whether the third
Phoenix Wright game would
ever come out in Europe. At one point, we had
serious reasons to doubt it would, but recent
ratings and a
confirmation from series producer Minae Matsukawa have since prevented us from egging Capcom Europe's windows. Even if the series is now
out of order, we'll take October 3rd.

No one will see me the weekend this comes out, I've been waiting for way too long.

Good to hear this finally. I've already "imported" it from... erm... teh intarwebs. Anyway, had Europe not had this game confirmed, I'd be one pissed Feeny fan. More people should play this series, probably one of the best on the DS, if not the best. That and the localisation lets you know Capcom actually give a shit about its customers, which is refreshing.

Considering the genre's European popularity I'm surprised it took this long or was even a question.
What? When it comes to adventure games, Europe can dish it out, but can't take it?
I regret that one already.

You can't help but wonder how much Capcom care about their European customers though, considering the length of time it for it to be released and the fact that Apollo Justice is already out. I was going to get this imported but I didn't have the money at the time. Then I went to America and couldn't find a copy anywhere. Need to pick this up on release date since it's now so hard to find any of the others.
