There were a series of manga murder mysteries that I really liked called the Kindaichi Files. Really great stuff, highly recommended!

Favorite murder mystery? Can there be any doubt that "And Then There Were None" is one of the greatest of all times? A fantastic story that was turned into a surprisingly decent Wii game, this should not be overlooked by anyone. ANYONE.
