Dragon Quest IX

What happened to Dragon Quest IX? Are the rumors true? Is it jumping platforms, or will we finally hear something about the elusive title?

Why it's likely: It would be a huge attention-getter, but with Square Enix's already-strong line-up, DQIX might get lost in the shuffle.

Why we might not see it: It may be a long time before we see anything on DQIX. It also makes a lot more sense to resurrect this one at TGS.

Prediction: Long shot -- but we're keeping our fingers crossed.
