Infinite Interactive is moving beyond the handheld realm this time around, and Galactrix is in the works for not only the PSP and the DS, but also the PC and Xbox Live Arcade. Some versions will include multiplayer modes and downloadable content, but they're not being too specific about whether or not those features are limited to certain formats.

It enslaved me on my PSP not my DS. :3
I won't be buying into this new one though, I'm quite satisfied still with Puzzle Quest and not too big of a Sci-Fi fan.

Why not a modern day setting? Medieval was great, sci-fi is overdone, but modern day could be interesting.
I'm sure it'll be as addicting as Puzzle Quest, but I'm really getting sick of Star-anything. I even cringed at Mario Galaxy when I first heard about its setting.
Stop with the space already.

And medieval is not overdone? Come on, zenprism, just admit you can tolerate one theme more than the other. Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior, LOTR--the list only ends because you have to make room for all the sports games. I admit I have yet to play Puzzle Quest, even though I downed the demo last week, but I'm not going to condemn the developers because of my genre bias; I'll just get one and not the other and be a man about it.

It's not like there won't be a Puzzle Quest 2, but I'm looking forward to Galactrix already (weird name though). That said, I wish the damn PC version of PQ came out already!!

Kickass. I'll definitely get this sequel, probably for DS. Seems like a perfect fit for PC, too, but I don't have time to play puzzlers anywhere but on my DS.
