October 26 boys and girls. That is when you might want to consider importing Tales of the Tempest, Bandai-Namco's newest installment in the Tales series. A good opportunity to flex those Japanese speaking muscles right?
No doubt all the time spent on the game will make it well worth the years of waiting.
Since Japan already has a release date, maybe we could get one for the rest of us?
2. I thought this game was released in Japan last year since I have heard so little about it since them. I had given up hope of it being released here, but hope has returned!
If you really want it to be released here, try telling Namco-Bandai or whatever their name is that you really want it! No other way to get a game localized than with support and demand for it!

3. I'd love for this to be localized, but considering how many games of the franchise we've missed (Many of them in the past few years!), I won't hold my breath.
Then again, besides Symphonia, have any of the Tales games been well-received (Review-wise and sales-wise) in the US?
