I recommend The World Ends with You if anyone is interested in RPG's, games that make great use of all the DS's functions or just excellent games in general.

I have gotten my entire shift to purchase DS Lite's and copies of Animal Crossing: Wild World. I have started a craze that shows no signs of stopping. All I had to do was explain to them how cool the game is and how much fun it is to play on DS. The rest was a piece of cake.

Where are you suggesting they procure a copy of Clubhouse Games?
In general I'd take into account who the person is I'm recommending the game for.
General: NSMB, MarioKart DS, Zelda
Casual: Piccross DS, Phoenix Wright, Brainage (I'm told)
Puzzle: Puzzle Quest, Piccross DS
Action/shooter: Contra, Geometry Wars
RPG: they probably can find games they would like on their own, though I'd be tempted to recommend Shiren
My personal favs: Shiren, Contra, AW:DoR
