GameDailyBiz reports that Castlevania DS is leading DS sales to new heights this holiday season. From the article: "The game's brisk first-month sales and solid legs seem to indicate many things, all of which are positive for Konami. It shows that the franchise has a loyal fan base that will follow the franchise to new hardware. It also seems to indicate that Castlevania awareness has deepening roots within the hardcore community."

3. I really really want this game, it was supposed to be released here in Australia in October but it can't be found anywhere. My local games shop keep telling me that all units are currently stuck in customs

4. This game equals, if not supasses Symphony of the Night. I can only hope this lets Konami make more wonderful 2D games and quit trying to make really horrible 3D versions of a 2D game. I could only imagine how beautiful a game like this would look at 1920x1080i with a next gen platform.
More 2D awesomeness please!

5. I haven't played Castlevania since the NES days, in fact, I haven't played any Nintendo game since then. But this game (and MarioKart, and the lack of good games on the PSP) made me buy a DS, and I have to say, I'm glad I'm back in the Nintendo camp! 2D forever!

1. I hadn't played a Castlevania since the NES, but I heard great things about Castlevania DS, so I picked it up. I am more than pleased with it! It far exceeded my expectations, and it has a decent amount of replayability to offset the relatively short story.
