Nintendo has ushered in the new craze in handheld gaming with the Nintendo DS. Great games, solid battery life, and lots of third-party support. As the Gameboy Advance is nearing what seems to be the end of its life, it will be interesting to see how a two handheld strategy might work for Nintendo.Though nothing is official, Nintendo has said that the DS is not a Game Boy replacement, rather, it is an expansion of the portable market. A Game Boy successor is expected by many within 1-2 years, and a preview unveiling of the system possibly by year's end.
So what say ye DS Fanboys? How would you like the Nintendo DS to interact, play, or get along with what may or may not be a future Game Boy?

1. I don't want my DS to interact with any Gameboy, present or future. I want my quirky touch-screen, microphone, dual-screened weirdness on the DS and I want my normal platformers, shooters, RPGs and what have you on the Gameboy, and I don't see any reason why the two would need to interact.
As for the next Gameboy, I'd be happy with something like the Gameboy Micro with perhaps some more power. There's still plenty of GBA games available that I've not got around to playing so I'm not bothered about when the next update comes along.
