A gamer's romance

Many serious gamers face a dilemma; finish that last level, or spend time with their significant other. Tipster, Vincent writes: "My brother was passing up the opportunity to cuddle with his wife in favor of Final Fantasy IV Advance on my other brother's DS."

Does passing up on the female species in favor of a game make you irrational, a true gamer, or just plain human (at least as a male species)? I know my wife has heard similar excuses while playing my DS in the past.
