I'd like to import one, if I wasnt afraid of the cost.
At 143, it would probably cost aroudn 200-250 dlls to import it...
I like Pokemon, but not that much...

I'm 46 and love to play Pokemon with my children (11 and 6). I think it is a great strategy/decision-making game that teaches my kids about choices and balance. My kids and their friends think it is amazing that the "old man" has a stable of Pokemon that can kick all their rears, plus it makes my wife crazy when the kids and I are talking Pokemon and she is clueless (kind of Dad's and the kid's secret language).

Pokemon was after my time but I always enjoyed the games anyway. The cartoons might be for kids, but the games always seemed fun to me even if I wasn't a kid.
DS Guy what you fail to realize is that while you grew out of Pokemon other kids grew into it.
Ever wonder how Mc Donalds and Toys R Us stayed in business after you grew out of them? Exact same reason.
You might see Pokemon go away for a while as you get older and then all of a sudden it'll come back again and be popular with the new generation of kids. Shoot maybe one day your own kids will be Pokemon fans.
Kind of like how my daughter loves Transformers the same way I did when I was younger :P

While I wouldn't buy it (didn't see the point in buying lite at all, phat at launch and forever) I have to say that artwork KICKS ASS,
I mean, think, they could've had a shot of happy Pikachu a la the 4 Kids TV show and made it bright yellow

Yeah most people agree there. The show was a branch-off of the franchise. But the games really are challenging and tough, but most people don't see them that way because the show gave it it's "for kids" image and all those countless hackers who made Pokemon the most "sharked" franchise in Gameboy history.
