I thought the PS and DS were three dimensional? So what's the depth?

Wow, that really puts it into perspective. That thing is really a tiny little thing. Smaller, lighter, better screens, sounds good to me.

Kenobi,
Nintendo will probably be announcing the North American DS Lite release details on February 9 when Reggie Fils-Aime speaks at the Dice Summit.
I hoping to see some pictures of the DS Lite not CG and to hear the released colours will be White and Black at the summit.

The PSP is about 25.5 mm high, and the DSLite is about 21.5 mm high. The original DS is 28.9mm.

So when it's folded, it's actually smaller than the PSP...and sexier too. :P

Not to mention more protective of the screen :). If it still retains it's GBA feature I may have to consider getting myself one of these beauties. Usually I don't go for these tacky gimmicks but it's hard to resist! I still think the GBASP is the sexiest one of all though.

On the go, my DS is already smaller and lighter than my PSP. As cute as the PSP looks all unprotected, it can't be thrown into a bag as-is. It needs the Logitech PlayGear case to be as rugged as the DS.

Simple Fact: the DS is EASIER to carry and toss in the bag than a sufficiently protected PSP. Our little DS's come perfectly protected and require no special heavy case.

The lite is just going to make things easier. It makes the Sony PSP look like a pig.
