Jim Welch is quite the artist. He not only creates excellent pieces of art, but he does it on a daily basis. That's the kind of commitment that we both respect and envy. Not only that, but we're jealous of his skills! In his videos each day, he makes creating excellent illustrations look so easy. We'd post what we drew after trying to mimic his style, but it looks like a set of crayons threw up on a piece of paper and, honestly, nobody wants to see that. We've embedded his Yoshi video into the post, after the break.

Fan art? On the internet? I have never heard of such a thing!
I guess it's cool to be confident enough about your drawing to think people want to see video of you drawing it.

This guy posts a new video every day of his art, and if it's still running by now then yeah, I think people want to see it.

Eh... it's ok I guess.
Trying to draw Mario characters as their potential real-life characters gives me horrifying flashbacks to that godawful live-action Super Mario Brothers movie.
I wish that when he had reimagined Yoshi as a more dinosaur-like critter he had also reimagined Yoshi as having feet that were bigger than apples. They're so damn small it looks like he just chopped off Yoshi's feet and covered the bloody stumps up with mittens.

I liked it a lot, he's really talented. I agree with an earlier poster though, the legs were a bit too small.
