In anticipation of receiving a pink DS Lite for Christmas, flickr user sakuramaki made this kickass DS Lite case. Modelled after the original NES controller, it was created by using cut pieces of plastic to shape the body, which had stitching affixed on top, and a pink polka dot lining for the inside. The case seals through the aid of a few strips of Velcro.
Personally, we love it and are fairly jealous. We have no excellent stitching ability (let alone the hand-eye coordination to use a pair of scissors), so attempting something of this nature is out of the question. Oh well, we're sure something like it will be available for purchase soon, if not already. Although, we must admit that we pretty much love our existing case ...
Found a cool homemade case online, or created one yourself? Found a cool case that wasn't homemade? We want to hear about it!

That is definately not the only one like that. Two of the people who stood in line with me for the wii had that exact same case so I think they're must be instructions somewhere on the internet

My girlfriend made me one of these a few months ago. I think she first saw it on Boing Boing, I know that's where I saw it. It's a cool thing to show people and didn't take her too long. She ended up making one for herself too.
