DS Daily: Making a list

The other day, it was suggested that perhaps we should all get in and reveal collections. What do you have? What did you once have that you've let go and now regret? What were you happy to pawn off on someone else? Where do you store them all? We want to know everything. Start with numbers. How many do you have? If we put together the entire DS Fanboy staff collection, it would probably still be less than at least one of you guys. We know some of you have staggering collections that we'd like to steal.

4. Advance Wars
Animal Crossing
Brain Age
Castlevania DoS
Castlevania PoR
Clubhouse Games
Elite Beat Agents
Hotel Dusk
Kirby Canvas Curse
Kirby Squak Squad
Lunar Knights
Mario Kart
Super Mario Hoops
Megaman ZX
Meteos
Metroid Prime Hunters
New Super Mario Bros
Phoenix Wright
Phoenix Wright 2
Sonic Rush
Super Mario DS
Tetris DS

I don't regret buying any of them (except MPH and Mario Hoops)! DS is easily my favourite system since SNES.
The one game I've yet to buy is Yoshi's Island. Hearing mixed things about it.

5. Oh shoot, ill have to do my snes collection. 2 snes systems, (one reg, and one special edition)over forty games, including super mario world 1&2, legend of zelda: link to the past, super mario kart, super metroid, simcity, pilotwings, Un squadron, and most of the rest are sports and racing games. and 4 controllers.

6. Off the top of my head - I can think of 42 DS titles that I own. There are more, but my memory is awful!

Favourites are the Phoenix Wright titles, Contact, Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan!, the Kirby games, and Meteos.

The only purchase I regret is Age Of Empires DS. Too many bugs in the single player mode, and in multiplayer the connection is so unstable it's virtually unplayable.

Posted at 11:39AM on Mar 14th 2007 by mog

7. In order of purchase:
1. New Super Mario Bros.
2. Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day
3. Metroid Prime: Hunters
4. Mario Kart DS
5. Animal Crossing: Wild World
6. Advance Wars: Dual Strike

My list of games to buy is humongous, though. As soon as I am out of college...

8. Oh, I also sometimes regret giving away my original "fat" DSes (DSii?). But they both went to good friendly homes, and I like my blue DS lite very much.

Posted at 11:42AM on Mar 14th 2007 by mog

9. 1.Mario Kart DS
2.Jump SuperStar
3.Jump Ultimate Star
4.Naruto Saikyo Ninja Daikesshu 3
5.Final Fantasy III
6.Brain Age
7.Club House Games
8.Elite Beat Agent
9.Wario Master of Disguise
10. New Super Mario Bros.
11. Kirby Squeak Squad
12. Yoshi Island DS

I Love my DS. My Favorites are Clubhouse Games, Brain Age, and Mario Kart. I can't Wait for Pokemon Diamond & Pearl. I mostly keep my games in my Porter DS Lite case.

10. Brain Training
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Elite Beat Agents
Mario Kart DS
New Super Mario Bros.
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime
Super Mario 64

I had Metroid Prime: Hunters, but I gave it away because I couldn't see it well enough to enjoy it in anything brigher than dim light.

Posted at 12:38PM on Mar 14th 2007 by GlitchCog

11. I know what you mean Glitchcog! I could only play Hunters in total darkness on my original DS. It made the experience somewhat depressing (though I wasn't finding it a particularly enjoyable one anyway...)

Posted at 12:49PM on Mar 14th 2007 by Hame

12. In no order, this is what I have:
-Brain Age
-Nintendogs:Lab and friends
-Truama Center

-Phoenix Wright Justice for All

-Izuna Ledgend of the Unemployed Ninja
-Yoshi Island DS
-Cooking Mama

Games I let go of -
-Super Mario 64 -- someone else played my file and finished the game and it ruined it for me)
-Contact -- finished it in time to still get a decent chuck for it as a trade in

I carry 7 games with me in my case the rest oar stacked neatly in thier boxes on thier own shelf.

16. Eh, short list ftw.
1) Metroid Prime: Hunters
2) Advance Wars: Dual Strike
3) Final Fantasy III

I plan on getting a couple more games this year, but nowhere near enough to get a collection as large as some of the above. I think if I have 10 games by the end of the year that will be a surprise, because I'll have to get a Wii too and get some games for that, and I'm on a limited budget from working at a tutoring place once a week.

17. I am a 1st/second party guy when it comes to the DS so I have.
Rayman DS*
Super Mario 64 DS
Metroid prime hunters
Star fox command
Clubhouse games
Mario Kart
This is listed in order of purchase
This game sucked so much I gave it to my sister :)

19. Some of you guys have so many games! Any yould be willing to... give to me? :) I have six games
Super Mario 64
Nintendogs
Viewtiful Joe
Mario Kart DS
Diddy Kong Racing DS
Mario and Luigi: Partners in time

The only game I dont like is Nintendogs. I just got tired of it after about a month. Other than that, I think ive done pretty well on a 14-year old's salary of $20 a month.

20. these are a list of games that I have bought for my DS (some I have sold back) in no particular order:

1. Animal Crossing
2. Polarium
3. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
4. Trace Memory
5. The Sims 2
6. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
7. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney
8. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All
9. Final Fantasy III
10. Yoshi's Island DS
11. Hotel Dusk Room 215
12. Touch Detective
13. Cooking Mama
14. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team
15. Super Mario DS

I regret all games I traded in, cause I miss them (polarium, trace memory, harry potter) I'm not good at giving anything up. Having said that, I do regret buying Pokemon mystery dungeon (worst game ever!) but I still can't bring myself to trade it in because of the insane guilt I feel over trading in previously stated games. :(

oh!

I sort of also have (as in, my boyfriend owns but I can steal at any moment)

1. Mario Kart
2. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
3. Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
4. Break 'em All

He once owned several others but he's crazy about trading games in.
