DS Daily: Holiday Lite

'Tis the season for asking for things, and the last time we checked, the DS is most definitely a thing. So who's asking for it? Sure, some of you may want one of the many new DS Lite colors or editions available, but what about the people who don't currently have a DS? Your parents, your siblings, people you know -- anyone hoping to be on the receiving end of a particular handheld this year? Lately, it seems like the DS is everywhere. Just today at the university, I overheard some people discussing the new Zelda-themed Lite. A few of the ladies at my mother's office -- all older than she is, and close to retirement -- have been discussing "that brain game" and have expressed a desire to get their math on. Have you heard anything similar?

My husband now wants one. He loves his Wii, as do I, but I recently got the crimson DS Lite for commuting. I was a little worried at first that I'd spent that much money just to keep from getting bored and wasting time, but I soon fell in love... not including him, of course. ;)

We recently took a long trip and I suggested he buy a game for himself to play while I was driving. Instant success! He's now talking about getting his own so we can play at the same time.

That's just beautiful. It reminds me of the Zelda SP my friend has. I'd love to get this (and Phantom Hourglass, as I haven't gotten round to buying it yet..) but I already have a decent Lite at the moment. Oh how I wish I had money. :(

I am considering getting my girlfriend the Coral DS bundle with Nintendogs. She has had my DSLite for so many months now, plugging away at Brain age and various forms of Sudoku. Funny thing is: She isn't a big Videogame fan, but she is interested in the tons of puzzle games available for the system, and she said that she thought that the Nintendogs game looked cute. lol

Being a big Kid is great. lol.

I work at Target and had to work at opening on black Friday so I really had no chance of getting the gold DS for my little brother, but about an hour before my lunch break the next day someone returned one and I snatched it up on break. It was awesome. He will love it so much.
