Looks normal, right? A case, albeit quite stuffed, and another case. Nothing special. Nothing to see here. Except the surface doesn't tell the whole story. TheCoats shared this week's pictures with us of his mobile gaming setup, and when he leaves the house, he's packing. We can only guess that he really feels the need for options, and that's something we can get behind. Hit the jump to see what's bulging in his pockets ... and keep in mind that this isn't his entire DS collection, but rather, just what he takes with him on the go.
We salute you, indecisive DS owner! Also, yay Scud.
Got something that makes you particularly proud? We like thingamabobs and doohickeys and swag of all sorts, as well as food and furniture and anything fun ... so long as it's related to Nintendo! Just take some pictures, tell us what's up, and send it all to showmeit [at] dsfanboy [dot] com. We'll take care of the rest.

*gasp* I want the headset/microphone!
I'd be very interested in knowing what the 2nd, clear case is as I'd love to set something like that up for my games. At the moment, I'm unfortunately stuck using several smaller cases for my many, many games.

You mean those cases that hold 3 cards? They should be fairly common. They're official from Nintendo. I got mine from the local EB Games.

That's a heck of a setup, compact yet it has everything. Very nice!
Side note: I want that metal tin with the Ds symbol....where oh where can I pick one up.

You'd be surprised how many people will catch what you thought was a completely obscure Simpsons reference.

I keep all of my DS games in those little three-card cases he's using. I only take one of those cases when I go out, though. Honestly, how is that at all practical? Who is ever going to need all of those games? All that does is increase his chances of getting everything lost or stolen.

I live about 40 minutes from my college.....and i am at school from 9-4 MWF.....the town my college is in is where most of my friends and my awsome brother live......so i don't know from day to day what games i need to carry around.....some times i dont go back to my apartment for 3 days.....so it is for my convienence....as for them getting stolen if they are not being played (does not happen very often...i frequently play in class) then they get put safely in my backpack which isn't just left lying around......normally if the backpack is lying around somewhere it is because im playing DS.....anyway
CHEERS!

I can tell you that. None. You'll never need any of those games with you.
"they get put safely in my backpack which isn't just left lying around......"
Well, hope you never make a perfectly human mistake and leave it somewhere.

I have the cases that hold 3 carts, I mean the case he's using to hold all of those. the 3 cart ones greatly annoy me because they don't hold NEARLY enough.
Right now my setup consists of a nintendo power mint tin that holds 12 cartridges, 1 of the clear, plastic 3 card holders, a zip pouch that is meant for SD cards, and the blue plastic cartridge holder for my R4.

Thats weird, i haven't run into any problems like that with mine, I have a (1Gb SanDisk card). Check this wiki out, it lists compatibility for all kinds of homebrew, and even specific SD cards:
http://wiki.scorpei.com/index.php/R4_compatibility_list
good luck.

Nice. I just have a 6-pack thing for my games, but all I ever need to carry around really on a day-to day basis are days of Ruin, Metroid Prime Hunters, Mario Kart, etc.

Wasn't really expecting all those DS games to emerge from just those two cases. I don't know whether to call this genius or just plain crazy. I think a R4 with a 2gb/4gb SD card would make things a lot better here, although he would have to start all those games over from the beginning.

i have the same ds case as you except mine's black. i had to sew the elastic strap tighter to hold my ds lite since it's smaller.
