In the fine tradition of American retailers, we'd like to get started on Halloween a little early this year. We've got pumpkins, costumes, and parties -- all things just ripe for you to undertake yourself once the holiday rolls around. Doing something gaming-related yourself? Make sure you let us know!
Also, hey -- if you're looking to get started early on your spooky plans this year, maybe
some of these will help get the (ooshy gooshy layers of) brain cranking out some ideas.
Show and Tell is all about fan stuff, so long as it's Nintendo-related. We love to see your collections, your crafts, your frosted creations, your t-shirts and swag of all sorts.Just snap a few pictures, tell us what's up, and send it all to showmeit [at] dsfanboy [dot] com. We'll take care of the rest. Not a handy type, but found something neat? Send us a link instead.

Surprisingly, I've never had a game-related costume for Halloween. I once mulled over being Ganondorf, but decided that none of the locals would know who it is and, instead, think I was just going out in blackface and would lecture me on racism or whatnot.
I hope that Joystiq has their pumpkin-carving contest again this year. I made it in the top 25 last year but didn't win one of the copies of Dracula X Chronicles that was being given away. (in part due to having a three megapixel camera that made my work look like crap.) A copy of A Witch's Tale or Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia would be sufficiently Halloweeny as a prize.

Blackface and a red wig, with a big cape made out of an old patterned rug, with big, dark timberland boots, as well as a leather jerkin
Though where one could obtain a leather jerkin, i haven't the foggiest.

Never said the people who live around me are particularly smart, alas. They'd probably chalk the strange attire up to pimp garb.
I have no doubt that I could find something that could be tailored into a leather jerkin. I used to dig around at the local clothing freestore for costume materials, and if it's anything today like it was years ago, I'd find just the piece of bad 80s clothing I need.
