Remember those guys that managed to get the penguin-powered Linux operating system working on the DS, complete with Wi-Fi support? Well, they've lifted the curtain on a fully functioning web browser, months before Nintendo releases their own Opera browser. This one's actually a specially compiled version of retawq, a text-based browser intended for Unix environments. Despite the fact that the lack of image support puts it a few steps behind Nintendo's own effort, getting it to work on the DS is an excellent achievement all on its own. Besides, there's plenty of ASCII porn out there...uh, not that we'd know anything about that sort of thing.

This is what they should be releasing the lite with, a web browser. I know they have the opera thing in the works but really, that should've come out with the launch of Nintendo wifi. I think I might prefer linux anyway but I just don't want to go out and get the pass/wifime equipment. It'll be much more convenient when you can just download a new browser from them directly.

LOL...ASCI Porn. That is hilarious.
#3, you will need a game cart and more memory for web browsing. The Opera cart comes with a GBA memory cart. Even the text-based browser can have memory problems, so if a graphical web browser is run...
What I'm saying is that having a DS downloadable browser is pretty much impossible. If you aren't using a homebrew version (doesn't exist yet), then you'll need the Opera version.

browsing the web on the psp sucks, browsing the internet on a 28kbps connection is a lot faster, believe me!
