This "game" would be a godsend for any collage kid.
Nintendo, make it happen in America!
(and anywhere else in the world)

Well what you can do is tell it how many servings and it tells how many ingredients in response.
It's not a game but an interactive cookbook. Cooking Mama is still coming and will be tons more fun then this.
The interactive cookbook is meant to attract a lot of nongamers like the English Training and Kanji Caligraphy tool and, Kanji lookup program. As well as those travel guides.
I think it only has room for the recipes in the cart because there are video clips of certain instructions. Which is quite handy and a real improvement over paper cookbooks.
It's like having a tv cooking show teach you how to cook at your command.
I wonder if they will do a various regions release such as Japanese style cooking, American style, English style etc.
It also can count the calories of the meal.

That is pretty clever, I wonder if they'll do a Western version?

You know, imagine what you could do with this and Nintendo Wifi.
Download new recipies, or how about a fan created recipie section.
You could upload your own creations for others to try!

Very cool... I hope they bring this to North America... I could use some cooking knowledge...
Infact they should do an "Excercise" Age for physical fitness programs. Or even make a daily planner for the DS Those woulld make the game system even more useful.
Just my 2 cents.
