When we conducted our daily perusal of poppa site Joystiq, we were intrigued by the above image. A DS cartridge case that allows one to hold up to 4 DS game cartridges and one GBA game cartridge. The case is Shogakukan's Hyper Carrying Case, available to Japanese consumers for a cool ¥480 (or roughly $4 USD). Do not be fooled by the wonderful graphic on the front of the case though. Inside there are no Mega Man games.

I already have something that is smaller and holds 6 DS cards. Still a neat idea if I wanted to bring some manuals along. Could do with a spare stylus holder as well.

I think the credit's been misplaced here. While the poster may have read it on Joystiq, they actually grabbed it from SiliconEra.

What a fantastical idea. Wouldn't it be neat if they gave these away with DS games or something like that? The last time I bought a DS game I must've gotten lucky because it ::gasp:: came with a case!!
Seriously though, I can fit at least 2 GBA games and 8 DS games in a normal case (maybe more, if I had more). Why pay money for something you already own? I don't get it. Unless, of course, your game didn't come with a plastic case to begin with;

A friend of mine just keeps his games loose in his cargo pant pockets... I'm surprised none of them have been damanged so far.
Personally, I keep my 6 fav (current or good multiplayer) games in my DS carry case, and the rest in their original cases, which look good all stacked and pretty. :)

Screw cases...or cartridges themselves for that matter. I've got my DS games backed up as ROMS on my PC, and can hold about 10 at a time on my DS-X! Not to mention my NES collection, Snes collection, Genesis, comics.... :P
