DS Daily: There can be only one

All this week, the DS Fanboy staff is going to take time out to let you guys in on some of our favorite games, so it's only fair that you return the favor. But since we're, y'know, evil, we're going to make it hard for you. Due to some incredibly horrific string of events, you must choose one DS game (and only one), and that is the only DS game you'll have. Forever. Yeah, we know, it's rough ... but sometimes, that's just how things go.

So what do you pick? Which one game stands above all the others?

1. My favorite game is none of the games i own right now, as i have only beaten them all about 5 times. My game would have to be Pokemon Pearl, as i know that it will be the apex of perfection when it comes out in a week or so.

2. Tetris. Tetris can be boring, but it never gets old.

3. Tetris DS most definately.

Or clubhouse games.

Basically, you need something with near infinate replayability.

4. Advance Wars. Never have I had such value for money from a single iddy diddy cart.

Posted at 10:35AM on Apr 17th 2007 by Jonman

5. Mario Kart DS. Quite possibly my favourite game of all time, no less.

Posted at 10:35AM on Apr 17th 2007 by Hame

6. 1. Clubhouse Games
1. Metroid Prime Pinball
1. Sudoku Gridmaster

Posted at 10:48AM on Apr 17th 2007 by Sancroff

7. Meteos - hands down.

Posted at 11:00AM on Apr 17th 2007 by americankgb

8. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! - because I would never get tired of it and the soundtrack is far more agreeable than the remake/sequel.

9. I'd go with Mario 64 DS, myy first DS game no less.
Here's why:
I loved the stylus control and I weep that nobody else has copied it. I realise I am alone in this. But I fiure I'll be alone on this desert island anyway....
The main game is such a classic, I actually think the extra characters improved it (looks like I'm by myself again), and it's perfect for when I'm bored and want a big game to get stuck in with.
The mini games are brilliant and still some of my favourite pick up & play DS game, especially the shell sliding game.

Can we have a GBA game in slot 2 please? I'll go with Mario Golf.

10. If there is a Wi-Fi connection available on the deserted desert island, Mario Kart DS. If no Wi-Fi, I guess it would still be Mario Kart DS because I can only pick one.

11. Puyo Puyo 15 year anniversary edition (import). So many game modes.

Posted at 12:41PM on Apr 17th 2007 by Daniel

12. Yeah, this one would be a toughie for me. I'm tempted to say PoR, just because, and all the extra modes offer replayability... but after a while, I think even hot whip action might get old.

I'd have to choose Clubhhouse.

I bet that island doesn't have wifi. :/

13. Mario Kart DS is perfection because it's fun and it's physics are well balanced, but I totally understand those who say they wouldn't mind living in a stranded island with only Tetris DS. Great game and great version.

Posted at 1:47PM on Apr 17th 2007 by Beren

14. "Question"

Do I have Wifi on the island?

I'd definitly choose Clubhouse Games with or without Wifi.

Posted at 2:00PM on Apr 17th 2007 by Kian

15. Right now its Bomberman DS. Multiplayer is really fun.

Posted at 2:26PM on Apr 17th 2007 by 3cubedminus3squared

16. Elite Beat Agents for me. I've been obsessed for months D:

...And Meteos. I'll sneak it in, dammit D:

17. Um, hello? Animal Crossing? It goes on forever and I still haven't collected/done everything. Though you would read a lot of the same dialog over and over, it's still got enough variation and programmed randomness to make it my pick.

Posted at 3:50PM on Apr 17th 2007 by NotAwesome

18. I have to agree with the animal crossing. I'm a big card game fan but I haven't played clubhouse games (gasp!) so I don't know if I would choose it or not, so out of the games I own I would have to go with Animal Crossing for its foreverness.

Posted at 5:39PM on Apr 17th 2007 by Sarah

19. MKDS.

Posted at 4:50AM on Apr 18th 2007 by Wilerson

20. Animal Crossing all the way
