For those of you who love those little Pokemon, however do not live anywhere near the New York City area, the launch event video for Pokemon Diamond & Pearl available past the post break is going to be full of things you've never seen before and do not know. How, you ask? Well, for example, did you know that Team Rocket was to have a fourth member in the original television series, however she was dropped at the last second? Yup, her name was "The Lunch Lady" and that's her above.
Check out the video for other launch day goodies after the break.

Dammit guys, I was just going to bed when I saw that... Now I'm gonna have nightmares!
I'm embarassed, on behalf of mankind, for the amount of 20+ year olds in that crowd. Buy the games if you must, but for the love of god you don't need to go to the kiddy-fanboy-launch-party and mingle with all the early teens.

Kefka, you're a retard.
Do you shit all over Mickey fans who are 30+ years old when they squeal in glee whenever they go to Disneyland? no.
This is the same thing, and i'm glad there are 20+ old people at the event. They are not all nerds mind you, some of them truly like Pokemon for what it is.

I was quite surprised at the amount of 20-30 yr olds at the local mall waiting to pick up the game.
The best though was the 10yr old in front of me that plopped down a sandwich bag of quarters and a few ones.

Y'know, it amuses me how--even if only in opinion--fascistic certain people behave. It's her choice; don't like it, then turn away. Who the hell made you select few the judges and jury on who should be where, and how. It's a game convention, not a communist and or organised/restrictive instituion.
Opinions are good, but opinionated air-heads are an entirely different story.

Mmmmm, I love baiting fans of the Pokemans. Always so defensive ;)
As for 30+ mickey fans at Disneyland - I'm not sure about shitting on them - that's a big step from being embarassed for them. But hey, whatever turns you on Scatman Jeff ;)
That said, I would indeed be embarassed for a 30+ man "squealing in glee" at meeting a guy in a mouse costume, regardless of fond childhood memories. Btw, Disneyland and Pokémon game launch events are not the same thing. ;)
As for "truly like Pokemon for what it is" - What would that be? A long running child-oriented anime series which now revolves soley around the merchandise market? My post didn't diss the games at all - they're great games.
Get back in your pokéball, and learn to take a joke. ;)
