Sure, a lot of people who commute take handhelds along with them, because there's really no better way to keep your mind occupied while on the train or the bus. But aside from that, do you play your DS much while you're out in public? It can be a nice diversion while waiting at the doctor's office, or if you arrive early at the movies, for instance, and we've known folks who took their DS or DS Lite along to work for a little lunch-hour gaming. But how about you? We've established that it's totally okay to game out in the open ... but do you?

I always have my DS in my purse, you never know when you might be bored out of your gourd waiting for something like your car's oil change or a prescription refill or your laundry at the laundry mat so it comes in handy.

I carry my DS with me where ever I go. As per Sarah says, you never know when you're gonna be held up and can get some playtime in.

It's usually tucked in my backpack, although I've stopped carrying around a stack of games. I usually just have my current game of choice loaded and in standby mode.

I love to carry my DS everywhere I go, but I live in Brazil and sadly there are some places around here that are kinda dangerous to take a DS (or any other gadget), because you can easily get robbed. So I always have to think if the place I'm going is dangerous or not before I take my beloved DS with me.

It was a gorgeous weekend here in NY, so we packed up our NDS gear and played out at the park. Had a blast gaming in the bright warm sun.

I played at the lunch hour for a while, but I've run out of coworkers with DSes. As Rodrigo, I avoid carrying my DS(es, actually, since I have both the Phat and the Lite) if I'm not sure if I'm going somewhere safe.
